Paul is the Chief Technology Officer for GSI and is responsible for the design and development of the Mesh integration platform. He worked as a technology consultant for Arthur Andersen prior to spending over 11 years at OpenBet, starting as a software developer and progressing through to a role as the Director of Engineering for the Casino division. He managed and delivered a number of complex iGaming solutions, including Sky Poker and Betfair Arcade, and subsequently the development and rollout of OpenBet's RGI platform.
Paul has extensive experience in integrating iGaming systems and has worked closely with many of the market's leading operators. He holds a Master's (Hons) in Engineering from Birmingham University, a Bachelor's (Hons) in Psychology from the Open University and a Bachelor's (Hons) in Mathematics from the Open University.
Alan Sugar - Lead Architect
Alan spent over 10 years working in the Casino division at Openbet, with roles including Senior Software Engineer - Casino, Technical Delivery Manager - Game Clients and Technical Lead - Game Server. Before joining Openbet Alan started his software career developing artificial intelligence applications in Cambridge.
Alan holds a Master's degree in Physics from the University of Cambridge.
Paul Beattie - Advisor
Paul was one of the first employees at OpenBet and spent thirteen years working for the company. Paul progressed through a range of roles at OpenBet, starting as a software developer, then moving to Principal Technologist and finally VP of Gaming Operations which saw him manage multiple satellite offices in Bangalore, Montreal and Vancouver as well as the core technical site in London.
Paul has extensive market knowledge of both the people and the products in the gambling industry. Paul founded GSI with Paul Evison in 2014 with the aim of redefining how software companies integrate in the gambling industry. He holds a Bachelor's in Computer Science (Hons) from the University of Aberdeen and MBA from the University of Cambridge.
